Our Story
We are for the people, the lovers of Fried Chicken. For decades delicious fried chicken made right has been on the tip of peoples' minds and we strive to create differently from our competitors as we soar to be one of the best Fried Chicken Restaurants in Victoria.
We specialize for our popular boneless fried chicken which we have been able to develop and improve for 17 years and counting. Our chicken is served in many ways from grilled chicken to bao buns, spicy and original flavours and so much more.
Gym Chicken is a family business that was first founded at Clayton, Victoria in 2003 and was originally named Clayton BBQ Chicken. The business expanded to a little store in the sports centre at Monash University in Clayton in 2006 where the name “Gym Chicken” originated from the students of the university who loved eating our chicken.
Fortunately, we got an opportunity to open a proper and much larger store for our customers to enjoy a fine dine-in atmosphere to enjoy our food.
It all started off with roast chickens and boned original recipe chicken – over time, we have continued to grow our menu adding items such as spicy boneless chicken, burgers and wraps, fried rice, and various salads. We focus on delivering innovation whenever the idea arises, such as, Chicken on Roti and a Fried Chicken Pizza
We are 100% Halal certified and we take our love for the Gym Chicken brand very passionately and the joy that we attain seeing all the loyal customers raving about our chicken is a life long achievement.
